John K Lundberg was a navigator aboard a B-17 "Spare Charlie" flying fortress. The B-17 was shot down by direct flak KOd # 2 & # 3, followed by fire an explosion, crashed a mile W of Epagnette, two miles SE of Abbeville. Missing in Action Tingry-Abbeville 22/6/44
