It is with heavy heart we learn the passing of Mr. Robert GIGUERE, a veteran of D-Day (Normandy)... He was 93... Robert Thomas Edlin (May 6, 1922 – April 1, 2005) was a highly decorated United States Army Ranger officer during World War II, receiving the Distinguished Service Cross for his actions of September 9, 1944, wherein he with three others forced the surrender of over 800 German soldiers.
