This is my great uncle that is buried in Normandy amongst all the other great and brave men. He was born in 1922 and entered service from Kentucky in 1943 and died July 30, 1944. He was called to duty from the replacement depot on June 19, 1944. 116th i.r 29th i.d 2nd bat. company e.
